Vewatch™ Vena Cava Filter is used to prevent the occurrence or recurrence of pulmonary embolism caused by thrombus detachment in the inferior vena cava system. This product adopts a double-layer umbrella structure design, which both has a good function of catching and trapping the embolus as they move up to the inferior vena cava from legs or pelvis and has a long retrieval window of 90 days, such can provide a longer protection period for the DVT patients. Its unique centered release design can effectively improve the neutrality of the filter in the blood vessel during implantation, avoid filter tilting, and improve the success rate of thrombus interception and filter retrieval. In addition, this produce has a progressive post release function, which can prevent the filter moving forward, and ensure the positioning accuracy of the filter after release.
